SEO Basics - The basics of search engine optimization

In the section SEO Basics we explain the basic functioning of Google and other search engines. You learn how different types of search queries trigger different results and – even more importantly – you get to know the user behind the search.

Keywords, users, content & structure

In the section on keywords, users, content and structure, we apply the basic knowledge you have gained:
You will learn how to research search phrases, keywords and user intention and what type of content is best suited to answer these search queries.
We present tools and techniques for research, together we look at how we can best structure your website and what needs to be considered when creating your content with regard to SEO.

Technical SEO - The basics for good rankings

In a technical part we present the most important technical requirements that your website has to meet from an SEO perspective. The main point here is that both visitors and search engines can reach all your content in the best possible way and that there are no stumbling blocks: From URL structures and loading times to XML sitemaps, we show you what you need to pay attention to and what tools are available to identify errors and to correct them.

Off-Page & Backlinks

The backbone of the Internet is the hyperlink. Individual pages are connected to each other by links, and it is through these links that the crawlers of search engines get to your site in the first place. The better your website is linked, the higher the chances for a good ranking. 
But what types of links are there? Which backlinks are good and what kind of links are useless or even harmful? And what strategies can be applied to build links from other websites?

Together we will look at the backlink profile of your website, analyze your competition and think about starting points & strategies for building valuable backlinks.

To do this, we look at your profiles on other platforms besides your own website, consider which platforms are useful for you and how, for example, entries in niche-specific online indexes can help your company to optimize its presence online.
