This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). We have concluded a corresponding contract data processing contract with the provider.

The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on the European Union’s Privacy Shield Agreement with the United States. Google is licensed September 2017 under the Privacy Shield Framework. https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored.

The data processing takes place on the basis of the legal regulations of the § 96 Abs 3 TKG as well as the art 6 Abs 1 a) (consent) and / or f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO.
Our concern in the sense of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymized. I
By activating the IP anonymization on this website, however, your IP address will be truncated by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The pseudonymized IP address provided by Google Analytics within the scope of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data provided by Google.

But be adviced that the opt-out-cookie only prevents you from being tracked only for this website and only within the browser you use. Google Marketing and Remarketing Services

.kloos uses the Google Inc. Marketing and Remarketing Services (“Google Marketing Services”), 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, (“Google”). The Google Marketing Services allow .kloos to display advertisements for our websites on other websites in a more targeted manner so that users are only presented with advertisements that potentially correspond to their interests.
Remarketing is when a user, e.g. Ads for products he’s been interested in on other websites.

For these purposes, when Google and our other websites that have Google Marketing Services are active, Google immediately codes Google, and so-called (re) marketing tags (invisible graphics or code, etc.) are added to the website as “Web Beacons”) incorporated into the website. With their help, the user is provided with an individual cookie, i. a small file is saved (instead of cookies, comparable technologies can also be used). Cookies may be set by different Google domains, including google.com, doubleclick.net, invitemedia.com, admeld.com, googlesyndication.com or googleadservices.com. In this file is noted which web pages the user visited, for what content he is interested and what offers he has clicked, as well as technical information about the browser and operating system, referring web pages, visit time and other information on the use of the online offer.
The IP address of the users is also recorded, whereby .kloos in the context of Google Analytics announces that the IP address is shortened (pseudonymised) within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and only in Exceptionally transmitted to a Google server in the United States and shortened there (see paragraph on the use of Google Analytics).
The IP address will not be merged with data of the user within other offers from Google. The above information may also be linked by Google with such information from other sources. If the user then visits other websites, they can be displayed according to his interests, the ads tailored to him.

The data of the users are pseudonym processed in the context of the Google marketing services, i. Google stores and processes e.g. not the name or e-mail address of the users, but processes the relevant data cookie-related within pseudonymous user profiles. That from the perspective of Google, the ads are not managed and displayed to a specifically identified person, but to the cookie owner, regardless of who that cookie owner is. This does not apply if a user has explicitly allowed Google to process the data without this pseudonymization. The information collected about users through Google Marketing Services is transmitted to Google and stored on Google’s servers in the United States. Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Program of the European Union.
Among the Google marketing services we use is u.a. the online advertising program “Google AdWords”. In the case of Google AdWords, each advertiser receives a different “conversion cookie”. Cookies can not be tracked through AdWords advertisers’ websites. The information obtained through the cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for us as advertisers. This tells us the total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, .kloos does not receive any information that personally identifies users.
We also use “Google Tag Manager” to integrate and manage the Google Analytics and Marketing services on our website. To learn more about Google’s data usage for marketing purposes, visit the overview page: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads, Google’s Privacy Policy is available at www.google.com/policies/privacy
To opt-out of Google Marketing Services interest-based advertising, you can take advantage of Google’s recruitment and opt-out options: www.google.com/ads/preferences.
